The Government of India continues to be well focused on skilling as its major national priority. It targets to engage 50 Lakh as against a current number of 2.5 Lakh apprentices as its major HRD initiative. For this purpose, The Apprenticeship Act 1961 was amended, and in August 2016 NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) was launched for promoting a culture of Apprenticeship and also increase the number of Apprentices in our ecosystem.

Yet another time Govt of India through its Skill Development Ministry finds MPTA education worthy to join hands for the role of promoting NAPS as a Third Party Aggregator.
- The government will reimburse part of expenses incurred in providing Basic Training wherever necessary and also part of Stipend paid to the Apprentices.
- Employers will not be required to cover Apprentices under the Provident Fund and ESI scheme
